“I am not giving out these items because I have money but because it gives me joy to put smile on the faces of the widows which I am one of them. I know what I passed through when my husband died.
“I married so early and had two kids before his demise but today those kids who were in Nursary and primary school when their father died are now undergraduates,” the President added.
Also speaking, the National Publicity Secertary, UBWA, Mrs. Nkiru Nwagbo, sought support from the government and other spirited individuals for the group to build capacity of more women, as well as empower them with startup capitals and mentorship to excel.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Emily Obah, assured that she would move forward with the encouragement and sewing equipment.
