Rev. Agoziem Isreal Okafor, a former priest of the Anglican Diocese of Nnewi, has resigned and launched The Grace Family Ministry following the withdrawal of his ordination license by Rt. Rev. Chukwuka Ndubuisi Obi, the Bishop of Nnewi Diocese.

The Priest’s resignation came after he was transferred to a new post, citing irreconcilable differences with the Diocese.

The Bishop has warned church members that Rev. Okafor is no longer affiliated with the Anglican Church.

The Priest who was in charge of Church of Pentecost, Obiuno Otolo Nnewi, but was transferred by the Bishop to Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Convent Orafite to become the Chaplain of the institution, submitted his letter of resignation shortly after he arrived at the new station.

According to Bishop Ndubuisi Obi who announced that the Priest has been dismissed as a priest of the Anglican Church warned members of the church who might want to do business with the priest to be aware that Agoziem Okafor is no longer a priest that is accountable to the Diocese and the Anglican Church.

It is not yet clear why the priest resigned or what prompted his sudden transfer to Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Convent Orafite, however, we can confirm that Agoziem Okafor has opened a Ministry, The Grace Family Ministry, and has rented a space at Umuezemeko Event Centre Ezekwuabor, Otolo Nnewi.
