Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan and Senator Sani Musa (aka 313) have debunked endorsing Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the consensus candidate for the national chairmanship position of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Senate President who has been a member of the Senate since 1999, reacted to the news to avoid his image tarnished.
It could be recalled that Senator Adamu’s media handlers have spread news on social media that he has been allegedly endorsed by the Senate.
Similarly, according to the official Facebook of Senator Musa campaign organization, he debunked the fake news. Senator Musa urged its teeming supporters across the country to ignore the news making the rounds on the purported endorsement of a fellow aspirant. “This is a blatant misinformation and should be ignored,” he noted. “What turned out to be a group picture of Distinguished Senators taken shortly after Wednesday’s plenary was misconstrued by mischief makers to depict a tacit endorsement of another aspirant.”
It could also be recalled that the presidency has last week also debunked the false news that it has endorsed Senator Adamu.
The Al-Makura Campaign Organization, (ACO), a flagship of Umaru Tanko Al-Makura Campaign Team for the position of national chairman of the APC is thankful to all for debunking the falsehood attached to them.
