APC solidifies unification in Zamfara

The Zamfara Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders Thursday met to revalidate and solidify the unity of all its members and supporters as arrived at on 9th May, this year.
The meeting which held at the Command Guest House, Gusau and chaired by the state Chairman of the party, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani was fully attended by representatives of the collapsed members of former governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, former Senator Kabiru Marafa and governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle groups.
It focused on strengthening what was achieved and the strategies to be adopted ahead of the 2023 general elections while ensuring the total elimination of any perceived group divides among members and supporters.
The State Chairman who re-emphasized his pledge in running a leadership that will be just and fair to all members said his doors will continue to remain open for advice, listening to and settlement of any problem to move the party forward.
He particularly commended the major players in the unity including Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle, former governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar and former Senator Kabiru Marafa for the reconciliation achieved and promised to uphold all the agreements reached while running the affairs of the party so that it continues to occupy the space as the only one to beat anytime.
In their separate remarks, Alhaji Lawal Liman Gabdon Kaura and Alhaji Surajo Garba Maikatako appreciated the convention of the meeting and assured that since the party relies on the togetherness of members, the unity will not be allowed to be disjointed.
They suggested that the meeting should be extended to all the local government areas of the state so that members at the grassroots will be fully integrated in all affairs of the party.
They pledged for the full support of all those in attendance and their effort to continue to bring their supporters together to ensure that APC remains the party to beat.
The meeting was attended by the State Deputy chairman, Alhaji Hassan Marafa Damri, Secretary of the party, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, former Secretary of the party, Hon. Sani Musa Talata Mafara, Alhaji Abdullahi Jao Zurmi, Engr Babangida Abdullahi Gusau, Hon. Sambo Marafa, Alh Babangida Madawakin Anka and all the State Working Committee Members
