ACAT Chairman, Aliyu Hassan Hadejia

Arewa Consolidated Agenda, (ACAT) has organized a maiden Polo derby in honour of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Shettima Kashim at Rubicon Polo Club, Abuja.
Chairman of Arewa Consolidatd Agenda (ACAT) Alhaji Aliyu Hassan Hadejia said the tournament was organized in partnership with the APC Presdential Campaign Council, (APC-PCC), Nigeria Polo Association and Rubicon Polo Club.
The first game was played between Dogonyaro Farm and Trobell Polo Club.
Trobell won with 4 goals, while Dogonyaro scored 3 goals respectively.
All the teams have +6 players on each side.
The players for Team Trobell were Kabiru Bage, CSP Usman Machika, Ahmed Aminu and Murtala Aliyu
While the players for Team Dogonyaro were Sadeeq Ali Modu Sheriff, Mukhtar, Adahama and Dahiru Mangal
Similarly, the second match was played between Team Tinubu and Team Shettima respectively.
The players of Team Tinubu were former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Dimeji Bankole, Abdulmalik Badamasi, Abdulmalik and Sodangi.
While Team Shettima had Murtala Laushi, Hamisu Buba, Mustapha Juniad and Jamilu Isyaku.
Dimeji Bankole scored 2 goals for his team and played all the 4 Chukkas.
The second match ended in favour of Team Tinubu which scored 8 goals, while Team Shettima scored 4 respectively.
In his remarks, Alhaji Aliyu Hassan Hadejia said, “ACAT organized the sporting competition which will includes Horse Durbar to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria to the World.
“The manifesto of our Presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima Mustapha indicates that it would give prominence to sports and culture.
“Polo and traditional durbar would be organized in many states across the country to sensitise the electorates to vote for APC and its candidates for the growth and development of Nigeria.” Said Alhaji Aliyu Hassan Hadejia.”
In his goodwill message over voice record, Minister for Aviation and Chairman, Rubicon Polo Club, Abuja, Alhaji Hadi Sirika said, “This maiden Polo tournament was planned to sensitize the electorates to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima for they to enhance a renewed hope for all.”
The championship was graced by Senator Kashim Shettima, who was represented by Architect Hashim Ningi, Director of ICT at the APC Presdential Campaign Council, Professor MT Usman, Alhaji Lawal Garba, Chairman of Trobell, APC candidates for Garki/Babura Federal constituency in Jigawa State, Alhaji Dogonyaro and SSA to Kwara State Governor of SDG, Hajiya Jamila Bio Ibrahim.
Other dignitaries are: Alhaji Adamu Garba, CEO, IPI Group, Alhaji Sanusi Garba, Chairman, AAB Facility, Dr Aliyu Hammadu, Kangiwan Gombe, Alhaji Kalifa Jikantoro, Galadiman Borgu amongst others.
