Army, Police advocate enhance synergy to tackle challenges as new Brigade Commander arrives Yola

In an effort to enhance synergy to fight insecurity, the Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, has received the new 23 Brigade Commander, Brigadier General P K Zawaye.

A statement signed by the Police state command spokesman, SP Sulaiman Yahaya Nguroje said the visit of the Brigade Commander had fruitful discussions with the Commissioner of Police and members of Police management team.

The Commissioner of Police used the forum in addressing critical issues such as security challenges in the state, synergy with other security agencies and enhancing collaboration amongst others.

The Brigade Commander assured the CP of his unwavering support towards the enforcement of discipline amongst the rank and file.

He acknowledged the pivotal role played by the police in maintaining law and order in the state and pledged their dedication to collaboration and give the training required for the rank and files of all the sister agencies to effectively and efficiently discharge their duties and protect the lives and property of all citizens.
