Beneficiaries undergoing the training in fashion design and tailoring

Fifteen women from Bauchi Local Government Area in Bauchi State have been trained In fashion designing and tailoring by a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Attah Sisters Helping Hand (ASHH) Foundation incontinuation of its efforts towards enhancing the economic status of the vulnerable members of communities.
Addressing the beneficiaries at the end of the training, ASHH Foundation, Executive Director, Ms. Comfort Attah said that the objective of the training was to empower the selected women through skills acquisition so they could contribute to the development of their immediate environment and also enhance their economic status.
The ED then appealed to the beneficiaries to put to use the knowledge acquired and also step down the skills acquired to other vulnerable members of their respective communities.
She informed them that her NGO and its Partners are collaborating to ensure that the trained beneficiaries are given starter packs with a view to having them practice what they have learnt.
Comfort Attah thanked the leaders of the community and the beneficiaries for their support and zeal exhibited during the training.
All the beneficiaries that spoke with our correspondent expressed their gratitude to ASHH Foundation and Women for Women International for positively impacting on their lives and by extension, their families too.
They also appealed to the organizers of the skills acquisition training to fast track the distribution of the promised starter packs in order to enable them practice what they have learnt.
