The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate in the Taraba State governorship election, Hon. Danladi Baido has assured that the fortunes of the state can be better as the it celebrates its 31 years anniversary of its creation.
He stated this in a message on behalf of the Deputy Governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmad Datijjo and himself in Jalingo Saturday.
He said: “Today, 31 years of history have passed through this state in it richness and paucity of resources. We might not have sail through these years with the required speed needed to advance the frontiers of peace and development in our dear state, but I’m optimistic that we shall get there.”
According to Hon. Baido, “going forward, know that our collective decision today in getting new crop of leaders in 2023 will either make or mar the future of our dear state. In hoping for the best, we must get it right in our decision.”
The governorship candidate noted that it is time to harness the gift of the nature’s gift even as he wished Taraba people a happy 31st Anniversary.
