Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike

The Citizens Watch Advocacy Initiative (CWAI) and the Guild of Civil Societies and Media Executives for Equity, Justice and Transparency in Nigeria (GOCMEJ), have described the accomplishments of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike as great milestones.
The organizations were felicitating with the Governor on his 55 years birthday anniversary.
The encomiums were contained in a statement to the governor by Omoba Kenneth Aigbegbele, Executive Secretary, (CWAI) and President, (GOCMEJ) a copy seen by Apex News Exclusive.
He said the accomplishments are signposts of commitment to the growth and development of the people and the nation as well as service to God and humanity.
Aigbegbele pointed out that it has been a very rewarding experience knowing Governor Wike whom he described as his leader.
“My Leader, your devotion to duty and total commitment to the success and infrastructural development of your state is equal to none and worthy of emulation. My Leader, you have indeed left your name in Gold and on the footprints and sands of time, for the rebranding and repositioning of the nation’s Garden-City, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, like never before and generations to come, will continuously refer to your great accomplishments, accountability and transparency in all endeavors,” he stressed.
According to him, the governor’s brilliant, wise contributions and immediate action have helped in no small way to block the leakages and loopholes previously envisaged in the state’s economy.
By this, Aigbegbele said, has tremendously affected the huge finances of the state thereby increasing internally generated revenue (IGR) for development.
“We are indeed proud to be associated with you because we know you are indeed a fearless, courageous and God-fearing Leader of the first order,” he noted.
The statement explained that the Good Lord has been gracious to keep Governor Wike in good health and conscientiously working hard to put not only Rivers State but Nigeria in the comity of nations.
Aigbegbele pray the Almighty God will bless and preserve the governor and grant him good health and many more years of committed and patriotic service to our fatherland, humanity and God Almighty.
He further noted that “Your Excellency has remained unshakable in his pursuit of truth, fairness and justice for all. Your sacrificial role towards rebuilding the nation of our dreams at whatever cost is statesmanlike and your love for the emancipation of the less privileged and downtrodden.
You are fearless, outspoken and a selfless leader whose belief in an egalitarian society where equity, justice, fairness and the rule of law is upheld and paramount.”
