As the Second Edition of the Farm, Food and Allied Technologies (FARMFATECH) Expo gets under from 10th to 12th of this month, a major promoter, Autodex Nigeria Limited, a leader in the agro tech sector is bringing its expertise in engaging agric technology.

FARMFATECH is promoted by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and Autodex Nigeria Limited in collaboration with some critical stakeholders.

Autodex is a trailblazing force in Nigeria’s automotive industry, proudly recognised as the first Completely Knocked Down (CKD) tractor assembly plant in the country.

The firm combines cutting edge technology with local expertise to manufacture and assemble a diverse range of vehicles and mobility solutions, from combustion to engine trucks to electric vehicles, while driving sustainable industrialization and green energy adoption across Africa.

Autodex core offerings include Vehicle Assembly and Manufacturing, Electric Vehicle Infrastructure and Industrial and Commercial Solutions among others.

The Managing Director Autodex Nigeria Ltd, Prince Tony Afam Ifeakandu, at a press conference with ACCI explained that at the firm, it believes food security is inseparable from productive mechanization and smart logistics.

He said Nigeria’s farmers are hardworking and capable and Autodex’s role is to empower them with efficient machinery and clean-energy, mobility solutions that reduce costs, improve yields, and accelerate access to markets.

According to him, through innovations in hybrid combustion and electric vehicles, tricycles, motorbikes, and utility vehicles, as well as evolving charging and battery-swap infrastructure, Autodex is committed to strengthening the backbone of agriculture-mechanization, mobility, and field-to-market reliability.

“Together at FARMFATECH, the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and key industry partners, we are advancing a future where contract farming, improved seed systems, and good agricultural practice are supported by world-class technology. Our mission is simple: equip farmers to produce more, move faster, and earn better, because a food-secure Nigeria must be powered by innovation,” Prince Ifeakandu stressed.

Among agro chain industries expected at FARMFATECH include those in agricultural and Agri tech industries, agri machinery, crop protection and nutrition, livestock and dairy technology, sustainable agri processing and nonagricultural complementary industries.

Scheduled to take place at the Velodrome, National Stadium, Abuja, FARMFATECH is expected to bring together over 500 exhibitors, 76 participating countries, and an estimated 500,000 visitors.
