The Chairman Borno state Football Association, NFF Executive committee member and Chairman match Commissioners appointment Committee, Alhaji Babagana Kalli has successfully run Nigeria’s apex league match Commissioning aspect with alot of accolades.
Apart from successful administration of football in his domain, the impact of Babagana “pride of Nigeria” who is a benovelent football administrator is generally felt in the North East sub-region and the country as a whole.
The man with many caps in Nigerian football today has impacted positively in enhancing the game of football at club levels, it’s management, coaching as well as organization of the beautiful game.
Babagana has over the years received numerous awards of recognition across the country.
The recent award by Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) in Gombe during it Zonal meeting on Monday 3 December, 2021 speaks volumes on Kalli’s impact regionally.
The “pride of Nigeria” Alhaji Babagana Kalli received another award yesterday during the final of Lt. Gen. T Y Buratai Cup played at the warriors sports center. It is within span of few days that the Borno FA Chairman received two awards for his avowed commitment to football and positive contributions to the round leather game. First it was the sports journalists and then followed by the organizers of Amb. Lt. Gen T.Y. Buratai Cup. Both organizers of the two events found Babagana worthy of their respective awards.
The one-time Nigerian flying Eagles player, Babagana Kalli is right now in Garoua Cameroon preparatory to Nigeria vs Egypt AFCON match Tuesday by 5:00pm at Roumde Adjia Stadium.
