Bachure flood infrastructural development to the rescue

Quality work on the drainage site

The devastating effects of last year’s flood in Bachure which forced a lot of families to scamperefo safety elsewhere will not repeat itself as the present administration is committed to curtailing flooding in the state.

Social and economic damages have became a yearly occurrence in this area (Bachure) due to the flood. These damages include lost of lives and property, wide spread of disease, loss of millions of Naira, displacement of people and extreme hardship.

In its efforts to provide world class infrastructure, the Adamawa state Government is investing heavily on roads and traffic management facilities, thereby attenuating the severity and impact of flood in the state.

The ongoing drainage and road construction fully funded by the Adamawa state government in Bachure, will definitely curtail the immeasurable misery and devastation usually caused by flood in that area, every year.

These gigantic drainage system currently ongoing is being constructed to ensure that water and sewage are transported perfectly to the disposal point, thereby keeping the environment drained and free from waste.
