The Barkindo Rahama Initiative has condemned in totality the gruesome attack, killings and counter-killings of innocent souls in Kakwa and Mabuhu in Zango-Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State from February 28 to March 1, 2021.
The Initiative said these senseless acts are coming at a time when wounds inflicted in the immediate past are healing.
This was contained in a statement by the CEO of Barkindo Rahama Initiative Engineer (Dr.) Ramatu A. Abarshi to Apex News Exclusive on Friday.
The body urged all members of the general public, the peaceful and law-abiding citizens of Zango-Kataf Local Government Area and Kaduna State to remain calm and allow security operatives deal with the situation “as an eye for an eye will only leave us blind.”
The Initiative also called on the security agencies particularly the Operation Safe Haven to leave no stone unturned in fishing out the perpetrators and not to allow criminal elements outrun and ridicule the visible achievements it has made in the last few months.
Engineer Abarshi sympathized with the families of the deceased, Atyap Chiefdom, Zango-Kataf and Kaduna State over these unfortunate incidents.
The statement noted the Initiative will continue to partner with relevant bodies in ensuring that peace returns to the state.
