Bauchi agriculture commissioner, Burga commends Federal Government disease surveillance assistance

In recognition of the gesture accorded Bauchi State government through the state Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development by the Federal Department of Veterinary and Pest Control under the Regional Disease Surveillance Systems Enhancement (REDISSE) Project, the Commissioner of Agriculture and Rural Development, Pharmacist Samaila Adamu Burga has commended and appreciate the Federal Ministry of Agriculture for the gesture.
The commissioner made the commendation after inspecting the delivered items at the Ran-Road veterinary clinic store Bauchi.
Pharm. Burga explained that the gesture was part of promise made to the state by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alhaji Sabo Nanono when he visited the state few months ago to see for himself the abundant fertile land at Galanbi Range capable of accommodating all kinds of farming production.
According to the commissioner, the Minister who was received at the Galanbi Range by the state Deputy Governor of the state, Senator Baba Tela, expressed satisfaction and appreciate Bauchi State efforts in encouraging and providing timely farming facilities to the people of the state to boost modern agriculture in line with global best practice.
He said having convinced by the agricultural policy of the state under the good leadership of Senator Bala Mohammad, the Minister promised to assist the state in ensuring full implementation of it agricultural policy in the best interest of the good people of Bauchi State as dividends of democracy.
The commissioner said the items received from the Federal department of Veterinary and Pest Control was in fulfillment of its promise to assist the state.
