Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Y Suleiman presiding over plenary

Bauchi State House of Assembly on Wednesday completed the screening and confirmed all the 24 Commissioner nominees sent to it by the Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir.
The Speaker, Abubakar Y Suleiman made the announcement of the completion of the screening exercise for the Commissioner-nominees after the House had dissolved into Committee of a whole during its plenary.
Those screened and confirmed by the House included: Alkaleri: Maiwada Bello and Ibrahim Gambo Galadima; Bauchi: Mahmoud Babamaji Abubakar and Hon. Danlami Ahmed Kawule; Bogoro: Dr. Tsammani Lydia Haruna; Dambam: Ahmed Aliyu Jalam; Darazo: Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza and Dass: Usman Garba Danturaki.
Also screened and confirmed are: Ganjuwa: Abdul Hassan; Gamawa: Salis Muhammad Gamawa; Giade: Dr. Yakubu Adamu; Jama’are: Usman Abdulkadir Moddibo; Itas/Gadau: Hajara Jibrin Gidado; Katagum: Hon. Farouk Mustapha and Kirfi: Hajara Yakubu Wanka.

Others are: Misau: Aminu Hammayo; Ningi: Hassan El-Yakub, SAN; Shira: Muhammad Hamisu Shira and Tafawa Balewa: Professor Simon Madugu Yalams and Barr. Abubakar Abdulhamid.
The rest are: Toro: Jamila Muhammad Dahiru and Dr. Adamu Umar Sambo; Warji: Hon. Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki and Zaki: Amina Muhammad Katagum.
The Speaker, during the plenary also announced that the Selection Committee of the House under his leadership has constituted the leadership and membership of the Special Committees and Standing Committees of the House for the approval of the Members.
The Speaker announced that the House will continue the screening of nominees for appointment as Commissioners as forwarded by the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad.
