‘Bauchi car dealers ready to partner state government’

A Bauchi-based business magnet and Chairman Bauchi State chapter of Motor Dealers Association, Alhaji Kabiru Sa’idu Katsinawa, has reiterated the commitment of the association to assist the state government by providing job opportunities to the youth to boost economic growth.
Alhaji Kabiru, who is proprietor of Katsinawa Motors Nigeria Limited, gave the assurance while addressing journalists in his office to extend the association’s hands support to the newly sworn in Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Mohammad.
He said the election of Senator Mohammed from all indications is a blessing to the good people of the state considering the way and manner he started.
The chairman, however, appealed to the state government to partner with his association for the supply of all kinds of official and personal vehicles.
He believed that by so doing, the state government will reduce cost of going elsewhere to purchase the cars and will at the same time get more revenue for human and capital development.
According to him, the association has over 45 dealers in the state with over 3000 members and so many engaged youth assisting in different ways for their daily bread instead of involving in thuggery and other criminal activities.
He said by purchasing the cars from them as home-based business partners, government will make a lot of savings and generate more revenue as well create more job opportunities.
