Bauchi custodial centre solicits more support from emirate council

The newly posted Officer in charge of Bauchi Medium Security Custodial Centre, DCC Aminu Yusuf on Friday, paid a familiarization visit to the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr) Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu in his palace.
During the visit, DCC Aminu Yusuf said that he was in the Palace to pay homage to the Emir and solicit for his support and members of the traditional council in the State.
According to the Officer, as royal fathers, traditional institutions play a critical role in promoting peaceful coexistence in the society noting that there has been a long standing cordial relationship between the NCoS and traditional institutions in the State.
DCC Aminu Yusuf Commended Bauchi Emirate Council for the support it renders to the Bauchi Custodial Center urging the council to maintain the tempo.

In his remarks, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu thanked the DCC and his entourage for the visit and assured him that his palace is always open for him any time he need support or advice.
The monarch further pledged to continue to support Nigerian Correctional Service in its drive for the Reformation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration of offenders in the state as contained in a statement by SC Adam Abubakar Jibrin, Command Public Relations Officer, Nigerian Correctional Service, Bauchi State Command.
