Bauchi Governor, Bala Mohammed commence 2-days community engagement in own country home

In his administration policy  to deepening stakeholders engagement and restrengthening community relations in running the affairs of his administration, Senator Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, has embarked on two-day working visit  in  his country home Alkaleri Local Government Area.
The purpose of the  visit was to interact with leaders and members of various communities, groups of youth and women with a view to ensuring the dividends of democracy get to the people at the grassroot level.
Addressing a gathering at Duguri his village , the Governor said his leadership style is providing opportunity for people to express their feelings and suggest better areas for government’s intervention towards improving their lives.
He noted that plans are underway towards providing more infrastructure in towns and villages as well as construction of access road from Maina Maji to Pali and that of Duguri to Gwana district in the Local Government Area.
The state first lady Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed whose address was particular on the welfare of women, charged them to take advantage of skills acquisition centre provided in the area to enhance their productivity.
She promised to upgrade the centre with more facilities for effective service delivery.
In their Goodwill messages the chairman of the local government Yusuf Garba and District Heads of Duguri Ibrahim Y.M Baba described the Governor’s visit as commendable.
Governor Bala Mohammed has earlier inspected the newly constructed palace of District Head of Duguri where he expressed satisfaction with quality of the work done.
