The National Vice President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Prophet Isa El-Buba Sadiq has recognised the efforts of Governor Bala Mohammed for including Christian community in his administration but however made case for improvement.
Prophet El-Buba held the position Saturday at Bauchi when he arrived for inauguration of Bauchi PFN Executives and dinner night culminating the two days of crusade put up by the Fellowship.
Acknowledging the efforts of the governor thus far and calling for more, he said “From the testimonies I have heard, and the interaction that has been done, the governor has done the much he can do, but he can do better. The fact is that God is a God of just. The sun is shining for everybody.
“So when you have the people living in a land they are not strangers, they are owners of the land. They are making their lives investments in the land, they have spent, raising their children in the land, they should also be partakers of the governance of the land.
“So, I am expecting to see strategic positions given to the church much more than what has been given to them”, the PFN National Vice president appealed.
Prophet El-Buba had earlier on Friday during Ministers workshop challenged Christians in Bauchi state to understand their roots in Christ Jesus who is all sufficient and powerful in order to guard against any form of compromise.
He asserted that the only thing that make many believers of no Christ fall victims of compromise is largely because they don’t know their identity in Jesus Christ who can ultamately protect and provide all their needs especially in advancing the kingdom of God on earth.
Speaking through his Senior Special Assistant in Christian Affairs, Zakka L Magaji the governor said the man of God Prophet El-Buba who created his time to come to Bauchi for the programme serves as a blessing to not just Christian community, but the entire state.
The governor reaffirmed his continuous commitment in actively involvinh Christians in his administration which he believe will keep promoting peace, unity and harmony in the state adding that the government door is always open to welcome Christian activities.
Earlier the newly inaugurated PFN President in Bauchi state Chairman, Reverend Promise Yohana said the presence Prophet El-Buba, PFN National Vice President added colour in the crusade and people of Bauchi have already started testifying the gains of his coming especially in the miracles performed at crusade ground.
He assured that the new executives in the state have subscribed and will priortise and domesticate the ten point agenda of its National President and Vice, anchored on revival, uniting the body of Christ among others.
In a goodwill message, the state Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Reverend Abraham Damina Dimeus said he has been enjoying full support from the PFN and appealed to the Prophet to find time and come to Bauchi again for a larger body of Christ to benefit.
