Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved the appointment of Dr. Musa Mohammed Kirfi of the Federal University, Kashere in Gombe State as his Principal Private Secretary.
A press release from the office of the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, Alhaji Muktar Gidado and available to Apex News in Bauchi revealed that the appointment is with immediate effect.
According to the release, the new appointee was an Associate Professor of Public Management.
It further said that Dr Kirfi who hailed from Kirfi Local Government Area of the state, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration both from University of Maiduguri as well as a PhD in Management from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.
The Principal Private Secretary is a Researcher, Public Commentator and capacity building experts, and started his academic working career at the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi before he later moved to Usman Danfodio University Sokoto and Federal University Kashere Gombe State respectively.
Dr Kirfi was a member of the Academy of Management of Nigeria and a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration in addition to his journals on Intergovernmental Relations in Nigeria, Gender Mainstreaming and Human Capital Development among others.
While congratulating him for the well deserved appointment, the release assured the good people of Bauchi State of the determination of Governor Mohammed administration to provide quality and effective service delivery that every Bauchi man will be proud to associate with.
