Bauchi Governor Mohammed commends Bani Yakubu family for historic Sallah visit, pledges better lives of traditional rulers

The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed has expressed gratitude to the support and maintenance of peace accorded to the success of his administration by the traditional institution in the state.

Governor Mohammed made the remarks recently when the Royal family of Malam Yakubun Bauchi, paid him a courtesy Sallah greetings, where he said their dedication, commitment and patriotism will never go unnoticed.

He informed that the newly constructed square at the new Government House was named after the  Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu in recognition of his simplicity, level-headed, dedication, loyalty, humility and tireless efforts towards maintenance of peace and stability which contributed greatly to the development of the state in his capacity as Chairman of council of traditional rulers in the state.

He commended the royal family of Yakubun Bauchi for organizing themselves and thought him worth to be recognized and respected to be paid a courtesy call at the Government House.

The leader of the delegation, The Bunun Bauchi, Alhaji Aminu Adamu Jumba, explained that the visit was to pay  Sallah homage and to show their appreciation to the Governor for naming the newly constructed square at the new Government House after the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu .

He commended the Governor for the execution of various developmental projects in the state as well as rebranding the palaces of traditional rulers in the state that can compete with any tested and proud royal palaces in the country.

He assured the governor of their total support, loyality, commitment and continuous prayer for peace, stability, success of his administration for economic development of the state in line with the dream of the founding fathers of the State.

Other notable members of the family in the delegation are, the District Head of Bauchi Town, Nuru Adamu Jumɓa and Marafan Bauchi, Yakubu Abdullahi.
