Bauchi governor, Mohammed urges Police to be professional

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has charged the Nigerian Police to be professional in discharging their duties.
The governor gave the charge when he decorated nine officers who were promoted to the rank of Assistant Supretendant of Police (ASP) working in the Governmennt House, Bauchi.
Governor Mohammed said the Police who are known for maintaining law and order must do it according to the prescribed law.
While appreciating the contributions of the police in securing lives and property, the governor urged them to work with deligence and responsibility.
The governor also appreciated the promoted officers for their outstanding contributions and sacrifice working in the Governmennt house and pledged to provide them with good working environment and logistics to perform better.
He commended the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu and the Police service commission for approving the promotion of the gallant officers which according to him will give them the morals to do more.
He said their services is most needed now that the country is ravaged by banditry, kidnapping and other forms of crimes.
