Bauchi governor’s Senior Special Assistant on media, others bag productivity merit award

Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Bauchi State Governor, Comrade Muktar Gidado has been honoured with the Bauchi State Productivity Merit Award.

At the joint 2019/2020 productivity merit award day celebration held at Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall, Bauchi, the Governor’s Media Aide received his award alongside Commissioners of Education, Youths and Sports and that of Women Affairs, Dr Aliyu Tilde, Alhaji Adamu Manu Soro and Hajara Gidado respectively. 
Other government officials who received the productivity merit award are Deputy Chief of Staff, office of the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Bashir Ya’u, Special Advisers on Civil Service, Assembly Matters and that of Social Investment Programmes, Mr Abdon Dalla Gin, Alhaji Sani Mohammed Burra and Hajiya Amina Katagum respectively.

Other recipients of the award are workers from both public and private sectors 22 civil servants and five from private sectors in the state. 
Speaking at the occasion, Governor Bala Mohammed congratulated the award recipients for well deserved honour and challenged them to do more for the state and the society. 
Represented by his Deputy, Senator Baba Tela the Governor said his administration has introduced various reforms in the state civil service to ensure effective service delivery and block leakages.
