Bauchi Govt appreciates FG for establishing additional healthcare facilities in the state

Bauchi State Government will continue to work together with the Federal Government to upgrade the healthcare sector of the state.

The state governor, Senator Bala Muhammad made this known when he received members of the House of Representatives Committee on Health at the Government House, Bauchi on courtesy call.

Governor Muhammad noted that his government has built and renovated over 200 healthcare facilities at both primary and secondary healthcare sessions in the state.

The Governor equally said that his administration has organized a maiden Healthcare Summit to converse with all the bottleneck affecting Healthcare Sector and already some of the recommendation from the summit have been implemented while others are on the process.

Bala Muhammad who commended the amiable efforts Of Minister Health Dr. Ali Pate for bringing up the initiatives to revitalize the Healthcare System in the country also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to work with committee members for the benefit of the citizens.

The Governor appreciates Federal Government for the establishment of additional healthcare institution in the state and promised more collaboration for the success of the institution.

Meanwhile, leader of the delegation who is the Chairman, House Committee on Health Institution, Amos Magaji told the Governor that they are on the courtesy call to the state to engage with relevant stakeholders and inspect Federal Government’s healthcare facilities in the state with the view of putting them more revived and viable for the interest of the people.
