Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has rounded off his campaign visit to the 20 local government areas of the state to canvas for votes for reelection.
The Governor and his campaign train ended the tour on Sunday with Bauchi local government area after visiting the palaces of the four District Heads in the area soliciting for their prayers, royal support and votes from their various subjects.
Bala Mohammed further urged the people to ensure that they vote for all the candidates of the PDP including the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar.
Bala Mohammed in all the 20 LGAs, ensured that he visited all the District Heads as a mark of respect for the traditional institutions considering the fact that he is from the Royal family too.
While addressing the people, the Governor thanked them for the massive support given to his administration and the PDP as a political party since 2019 when was elected and sworn is as the Governor.
Bala Mohammed stressed the need for the people to reelect him for a second term to enable him complete all ongoing projects as well as embark on new ones where possible because according to him, his aim is to evenly develop the state.
The Governor appealed to traditional rulers as fathers to all, bless his reelection bid as well as convince their subjects to vote for him again and other PDP candidates for good governance and development.
On his way to Liman Katagum, the campaign train led by the Governor, passed through the road from Railway to Gudun to Kir through Luda where the Governor apologized to the communities for not given attention to the road promising that it will be one of projects he will do if reelected for a second term.
In their separate remarks, the District Heads of Galambi, Alh. Shehu Adamu Jumba, that of Zungur, Suv. Ibrahim Sa’idu Jahun, the one of Miri, Malam Hussaini Abubakar Othman and that of Bauchi metropolis, Alh. Nuru Adamu Jumba thanked the Governor for the numerous developmental projects done in the LGA.
The projects included construction of roads, schools, health facilities, housing estates, palaces as well as official vehicles thereby elevating their status.
In their words, Bauchi LGA people are assuring him that they are satisfied with his style of leadership and are happy with the positive progress so far made in the state by the administration.
They variously presented their requests for the development of their respective areas and wished that the electorate will find it expedient to reelect him for a second term as well as victory for all other PDP candidates in the state.
