Bauchi Police Command invites prospective recruits for physical, credential screening

The Bauchi State Police Command has invited all candidates who completed their online recruitment registration in the ongoing 2022 recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Police Force (Police Constables), for physical and credential screening of General duty/specialist applicants.

The Command’s public Relation officer SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil in a press release said the screening exercise is scheduled to be held at State Police Headquarters, ‘yandoka road Bauchi from Monday 8 to 29, January 2024 from 7:00am daily.

The release urged applicants to visit the recruitment portal www.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print out their invitation slip.

The applicants are further urged to proceed to the screening center as indicated on their invitation slip in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with all the mandatory basic screening requirements, neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached.

It adds that any candidate who fails to present the mandatory requirements will not be considered for screening and equally advised them to pay attention to detailed and specific guidelines on the screening exercise.

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police Auwal Musa Muhammad assured that the Statutory Entry Requirements into the Force as clearly stated in the Police Act and Regulations, would be followed to the letter.

The CP emphasized that the exercise is free of charge, and advised applicants to be wary of criminal elements who may want to take undue advantage of the exercise to perpetrate recruitment-related crimes.
