Bauchi recorded zero crime case on Sallah Day — Police

The Bauchi State Police Command says no cases of crime was recorded in the course of Sallah celebration adding that it is the first time such is witnessed in a long time in the state.
The police public Relation Officer of the Command SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil made this known recently in an exclusive chat with Apexnewsexclusive.
According to him, it is not unconnected to the precaution taken by the Command before the Sallah with deployment of officers and men of Force on visibility patrol to strategic places and nooks and crannies of Bauchi State.
He submitted that even the interior places where the Sara Suka (Street thugs) are creating problem, they were able to penetrate those areas without giving them brea thing space.
SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil submitted that the Sara Suka challenge in the state is one they are approaching with community partnership and engagement.
He added that the Commissioner of Police Bauchi State Command Aminu Alhassan before the Sallah had summoned all the hamlets in the state to discuss with them ths need to collaborate with the Command to curtail the sara Suka challenge as they are still sons of members of the community.
SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil however advised the masses to maximise the Rescue Me application and always call the control room centre instead of officers personal lines on order to receive prompt response.
