Bauchi Speaker, Abubakar Y. Suleiman

Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Abubakar Y Suleiman has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of the 2021 Christmas celebration.
In a Christmas message to all Christians faithfuls, the Speaker hoped that this year’s Christmas will be filled with happiness, brotherhood and love.
He enjoined all Christians to continue showing compassion, patriotism, honesty and love as preached by Jesus (Peace Upon Him).
According to him, “apart from the festive nature of Christmas, it is another point of sober reflection on the successes and failures of our lives, communities, states and nation with a view to strengthening our faith, contribution to peace and nation building and finding solutions to so many problems bedeviling us as individuals and as people of Nigeria”.
Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman therefore enjoined Christians to continue building bond of brotherhood and mutual trust with other faiths in order to bring out the country out of problems of insecurity, poverty, health, corruption among others.
He commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad of Bauchi State for being proactive in securing the State from all sorts of security and social problems and providing unprecedented infrastructural transformation which put the State above peers.
While urging christians to continue praying for the Governor and all leaders at State and National level, he prayed that the celebrations will end with all sorts of fun and happiness as contained in a statement by Abdul Ahmad BurraSpokesperson to the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly.
