Former President Goodluck Jonathan honoured in home state
A former Nigeria’s President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has been appointed as the honorary special adviser of Bayelsa State Education Development Trust Fund (EDTF).
The state Governor Seriake Dickson made the disclosure Friday at the official launching of the trust fund in Yenagoa.
According to him, Dr. Jonathan would take charge and supervise the collection of donations for the trust fund.
Dickson explained that Jonathan was appointed because of the solid foundation he laid for the educational system.
Dr. Jonathan lauded the efforts Bayelsa State Government at developing education in the state.
