Benue Lottery board Executive Secretary Uper felicitates with Chief Sevav on emergence as Tor Sankera II

The Executive Secretary of the Benue State Sports Marketing and Lottery Board (BSMLB), Hon. Michael Uper, has extended warm felicitations to Chief David Sevav on his emergence as the Tor Sankera II.

In a congratulatory message, Hon. Uper described Chief Sevav’s victory as a resounding testament to his exceptional leadership qualities, impressive track record, and the unwavering trust reposed in him by the people of Sankera.

“On behalf of my family and the BSMLB, I rejoice with Chief Sevav on this well-deserved victory and pray that God grants him the wisdom of Solomon to tackle the challenges facing our beloved axis of Sankera, particularly insecurity,” Hon. Uper said.

He noted that Chief Sevav’s impressive academic and professional background, coupled with his distinguished career in public service, makes him an exemplary leader.
He commended the peaceful conduct of the election, which was held at Akume Atongo stadium, Katsina Ala.

The BSMLB Executive Secretary while pledging the Board’s support and collaboration with Chief Sevav to promote sports development and empowerment programs in Sankera, expressed confidence that Chief Sevav’s leadership would bring about a new era of growth and development to the area.

“We look forward to working with Chief Sevav to achieve his vision for the development of the area. We are committed to supporting his initiatives and programs aimed at promoting the welfare and well-being of Sankera people,” Hon. Uper said.

Chief Sevav’s emergence as the Tor Sankera II has been hailed as a new dawn for the Tiv nation. He is expected to tackle the challenges facing the area, particularly insecurity, and promote unity and stability in the region.
