Member representing Oju/Obi Federal Constituency of Benue State in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. David Agada Ogewu, has been commended for his exemplary leadership and commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
The commendation was made by
Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama saying his recent gesture of empowering his constituents with items worth billions of Naira is a testament to his dedication to their well-being.
Rahama also praised Rt. Hon. Ogewu for his tireless efforts in ensuring the development of his Constituency stressing that his commitment to the welfare of his constituents is evident in the numerous projects and initiatives he has undertaken, including the empowerment program.
Rahama called on other members of the National Assembly to emulate the example set by Hon. Ogewu, because “His selfless service and dedication to the people are a beacon of hope for Nigeria’s development.”
The items shared by Hon. Ogewu, included vehicles, motorcycles, milling machines, grinding machines, cassava processing machines, sewing machines, and hairdressing kits.
He opined that, the items will go a long way in improving the lives of his constituents noting that this gesture is a shining example of what it means to be a true representative of the people.
Rahama commended Hon. Ogewu for his leadership, which has been instrumental in fostering development in his constituency.
According to him, “His empowerment program is a clear example of his dedication to the welfare of his constituents.”
He added that, “The letter of commendation received by Rt. Hon. David Agada Ogewu from the Deputy National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Rt. Hon. (Dr) Ali Bukar Dalori, is a testament to his commitment to the development of his constituency and the party in general. Ukkasha noted that this recognition is well-deserved.”
Rahama urged Nigerians to support leaders like Hon. Ogewu, who are truly committed to the development of their constituencies.
He also stated that his selfless service is a shining example of what it means to be a true representative of the people.
The Igede Agba celebration was a resounding success, thanks to the efforts of Hon. Ogewu and his team.
Rahama noted that it was a day of joy, empowerment, and celebration, and a testament to the impact one person can have on their community.
