Blend of cultures meet as Barrister Francis, Fatima dedicate daughter

By Anthony Maliki, Abuja

A blend of cultures from across Nigeria’s divide came to play when the family of Barrister and Barrister (Mrs) Francis and Fatima Ekene dedicated their baby daughter, Kamarachimdi to the Lord at Basilica of Grace, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Gudu, Abuja on Sunday.

Both lawyers, Francis is Igbo extraction but understands fluant Hausa while Fatima (nee Akwuchi) is of Jukun stock.

Kamarachimdi also has a Jukun name, Shidopanni, meaning ‘God help me handle’.

The couple are now blessed with five children.

After the Thanksgiving, the couple hosted guests to a reception at their resident at Kpaduma off Guzape, Abuja.
