The Bodija ’92 class held their 31st annual reunion in Owo, Nigeria, from January 15-17, 2025, a location chosen to support those affected by a past tragedy.

The three-day event, led by Very Rev. Fr. Patrick Olugbenga Eyinla, who also celebrated his 60th birthday, culminated in a poignant pilgrimage to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

This church was the site of a June 5, 2022, terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 42 worshippers.

At the church and nearby memorial parks, the group prayed for the victims, their families, and the community of Owo, seeking comfort and strength in the face of the tragedy.

Their visit reflected the class’s core objective: mutual support and encouragement, echoing Hebrews 3:13.

The reunion also included a Holy Mass for deceased classmates Bishop Paul Olawore, Frs. John Awaeba, Ezekiel Owoeye, and Paul Oredipe.

Numerous priests attended, including Fathers Francis Adedara, Stephen Folorunsho, Anthony Ozele, Patrick Udotai, James Morkor, Justin Udomah, Michael Umoh, James Dukiya, Patrick Eyinla, Cyril Ogedengbe, and Patrick Feyisetan.
