Bogoro community in Karu pledges support for constituted authority

Tseyawa people from Bogoro, far away in Bauchi State who are residing in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have made a pledge to support the existing development and peaceful coexistence in Karu and across the state at large.
This, the people said on Saturday after presenting their community leader to the paramount ruler of Karu , Pharmacist Panya Baba Luka, for recognition and acceptance, at the Esu Karu Palace.
Speaking after the presentation, Mr Filebus Habila who represented the Yir Gung Zaar of the Tseyawa Nasarawa State said the aim of their meeting with the paramount ruler of Karu was to introduce the representative of Tseyawa people living in Karu.
He thanked the royal father for his humility, hospitality and accommodating them in his domain, saying with the presentation of the newly crown Sarkin Tseyawa of Karu, their expectation on him is to ensure the unity of the people among their host community and by extension to all residence of Karu.
“This is because nothing works without unity and peaceful coexistence. Our number one expectation from our community leader now that he has been accepted by our father the Esu Karu is for him to unite us as a people.
“Why we needed this opportunity of having a leader is to ensure that we are not left behind in cause of development and the progress of Karu” He said.
Mr Bulus added that the Zaar people of Bogoro in Bauchi have lived in Nasarawa State for over 100 years, pleading that if need be, the government should consider appointing one among them as a staff of office chief.
Contributing, the secretary of Zaar Community in Nasarawa State, Mr Yusuf Zakka, extolled the Esu Karu , government of Nasarawa State for creating an enabling environment for all, especially the Zaar people .
Earlier, the Yir Gung Zaar of Karu, Chief Ayuba Bulus , expressed profound gratitude to the royal father, pointing out that as his subject and loyalist, he will continue to heed to the advise of the Esu Karu as a law abiding citizen.
He pledges to ensure peaceful coexistence , stick by the rules governing the state , assuring that while he reign as the representative of his people in karu, he will work hand in hand with his people and constituted authority in the land.
