Baruga Ibrahim, a hopeful presidential candidate for the Because Of Our Tomorrow (BOOT) Party, has reacted to the recent appointment of a new national chairman by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement, Jarman Wase commended the APC for the appointment, noting that the new national chairman, Nentawe, was his counterpart in the 2023 Plateau State governorship election. However, he expressed hope that the appointment would be among the APC’s strategic missteps that would ultimately pave the way for his victory in the 2027 presidential election.
Jarman-Wase emphasized that the Nigerian people are eager for a new direction and that the BOOT Party is ready to deliver. He highlighted the party’s platform, built on the principles of inclusivity, economic development, and security, and expressed confidence that their policies and leadership would resonate with Nigerians from all walks of life.
“The Nigerian people deserve better, and the BOOT Party is committed to providing it,” Baruga said. “We look forward to engaging with the Nigerian people, sharing our vision, and working tirelessly to build a better future for our great nation.”
Baruga’s reaction underscores the growing anticipation and competition ahead of the 2027 general elections, with various parties and candidates positioning themselves for the polls. The BOOT Party’s message of hope and renewal is expected to appeal to many Nigerians seeking change and progress.
