Borno FA, COVID-19 enforcement committee hands off El-Kanemi vs Gombe United match security to police
In their efforts to ensure a successful match in the ongoing Nigeria National League match between Elkanemi Warriors and Gombe United on Sunday in Maiduguri, the Borno State Football Association and the COVID-19 Protocols Enforcement Committee have decided to handover to the Nigeria police Borno State the security arrangement of the match.
According to the FA Secretary, Babagoni Grema “We have handed over the security of the whole stadium to the Borno State police to ensure that we play the match behind closed doors and hitch free”.
The FA will be guiding the security men on black spots where people jump the fence to enter the Stadium.
According to the meeting of the securitymen and the enforcement Committee all football lovers should stay at home and pray for their loved teams, as nobody will be allowed into the stadium in our efforts towards COVID-19 protocols adherence.
