The Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Board of Trustees (BOT), Senator Walid Jibrin has vowed never to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said even at death, he is with the PDP and that his grave shall boldly be engraved with PDP.

Senator Walid also posited that the PDP is yet to settle on zoning or no zoning, adding that what the party is looking at is quality representation from a quality leader.

The BOT chairman, who is also the Sarkin Fulani of Nasarawa State made these assertions on Wednesday during an empowerment programme organised by Hajiya Hauwa Ardo at Keffi, Nasarawa State.

Walid, speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the event, on whether the PDP will zone presidential position to the south as being agitated for, he backed out and said the PDP is yet to take a decision on that pointing out that zoning is never the problem of the Peoples Democratic Party but quality leadership.

“So whether or not zoning will be consider, it will be in the best interest of Nigerians, however, what matters more to us is to see a united Nigeria that is devoid of banditry, kidnapping and arm robbery, to which we are working hard towards. That is why we are not in a hurry for now”, Walid stated.

The Sarkin Fulani also posited that despite the fact that every party has its challenges which also depended on the degree of the problem.

He said what is happening to the APC currently will take God to save the situation.

He urged the APC to concentrate in solving their problems than talking about the PDP because they are more in problems than the PDP especially in Nasarawa State where most of the stakeholders are sitting on a time bomb.
