Boy,13 rapes girl, 5, as 52-year-old man caught sexually abusing 17-year-old boy in Nnewi

A 13-year-old boy, Chibuike met his Waterloo as he was identified to be responsible for the rape of a 5-year-old girl (name withheld) in Nkpoka Okpuno Nnewichi Nnewi.
The boy who received an intense beating from neighbours and bystanders confessed that he has previously kissed the young girl a number of times before deciding to take it a step further by inserting his manhood into her.
He also confessed that he had promised to give the girl N50 if she allowed him to defile her.
The five-year-old whose parents were surprisingly absent from the scene of the crime at the time confirmed Chibuike’s submission. Our correspondent are yet to hear from both parents and the following actions.
However, in a related development, a 52-year-old man has been caught sexually abusing a 17-year-old boy in Nnewi.
The man who is popularly called Edo White was arrested and paraded today by Edoji Community Vigilante Service.
Though not yet confirmed, the man who is said to be from a Family in Edoji Community was paraded before members of his Community.
Speaking to our correspondent, an indigene of the Community who pleaded anonymity said that the 52-year-old man have a long history of engaging in homosexual acts.
He claimed that whenever the man who is also diabolical sleeps with any man or boy, the persons will automatically suffer from epilepsy.
He claimed that the man confessed that he made the charm in his attempt to become rich which unfortunately failed him.
Speaking further, he informed our correspondent that the man when he was subjected to questioning by Edoji Community Security confessed that he has slept with about three boys who are now suffering from epilepsy.
Our correspondent further gathered that the man has been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force in Nnewi.
Homosexuality is considered taboo across much of Nigeria’s conservative society and has been outright banned at an institutional level. Nigerian courts criminalized same-sex relationships in 2014 under a bill signed by then-Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan.
The “Same-Sex Marriage Prohibition Bill” stipulates lengthy prison sentences for individuals entering into a same-sex marriage. Same-sex acts are also punishable by fines and up to 14 years in jail, while public displays of affection are punishable by up to ten years in prison.
