Brotherhood of the Cross and Star appoints varsity don, another academic as spokespersons

A renowned spiritual organization, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, with vast international networks and faithful, has named new spokesmen who are noted academics in Nigeria.

Ambassador Amah Williams is a lecturer at the Akwa Ibom State University.

The young history expert who is from Akwa Ibom State, Williams has just been appointed as the new spokesman of the organisation with effect from this week.

His deputy is equally an academic; a prolific writer and an orator. From Cross River State, Archbishop Emmanuel Agbor Ekuri schooled at the famous University of Calabar. He has been involved in International evangelism.

Williams’ letter of appointment listed, in parts, that, “As official mouthpiece of the Holy Father and the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, you are to be guided by the defined responsibilities.

“You shall give publicity to BCS policies, projects and programmes meant for public and government consumption as approved by he Holy Father.

“You shall organise regular and necessary media chat, and perform regulatory oversight on all electronic and print media, amongst arrays of others.”

Both spokesmen are replacing Patriarch Edet Archibong who served for over five years in the capacity. Her Eminence Glory Bassey, the erstwhile deputy spokesperson served for some two years. Both have been posted to man other higher responsibilities in the fold.
