Building materials international market, Ogidi distributes learning items to school children

Over 800 school children selected form Primary and Secondary Schools from four Communities in Idemili North Local Government Area have benefited from the distribution of some school materials by the executive of Building Material International Market Ogidi.
The event which took place at the market premises and reports that the students and pupils were selected from schools within Ogbunike, Nkpor, Abatete and Ogidi.
Addressing the school children and traders at the event, the President of the Market Chief Jude Nwankwo explained that the school bags were donated by Chinese friends of the market last year, but they decided to give them to school children instead of distributing them among themselves to help government boost education in the State and as well as encourage the children to study hard.
Chief Nwankwo urged the students and pupils to make judicious use of the bags in order to improve in their academics.
He thanked the donors for the gesture and explained that the bags were cleared by the Nigeria customs free.
In their vote of thanks, a teacher from Akpakaogwe Primary school Ogidi Mrs. Onyinye Nwadokwe and her counterpart from Wisdom Heritage Iyienu Ogidi, Mr. Princewill Amobi, thanked members of the Market executive for their benevolence.
Speaking to newsmen, two pupils from Akpakaogwe Primary School Two, Chidinma Okoye and Onyedika Onyema, prayed for God’s blessings on the traders in all their endeavours.
Earlier in a message during a prayer session that proceeded the event, Evangelist Emma Anago, urged the traders to be steadfast in prayers and draw closer to God for them to receive blessings from God.
