Business, governors, other personalities grace Malam Abubakar’s investiture as CONSCCIMA President

Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje hangs the investiture pendant on new CONSCCIMA President, Malam Dalhatu Abubakar

Captains of industry and top government personalities among others converged at the magnificent Afficent Marquee event Centre Nasarawa, Kano for the investiture of Malam Dalhatu Abubakar as the 12th new President of the Coalition of the Northern States Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, (CONSCCIMA).

Malam Abubakar is the Chairman of Al-Hamsad Group of Companies.

The personalities included the Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who was the special guest of Honour, his Jigawa State counterpart, Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar who also is Chairman BoT CONSCCIMA was the keynote speaker.

Also, royal fathers graced the investiture on Thursday. They include His Highness the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and the Emir of Gaya, Emir of Gaya, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim AbdulQadir.

Other personalities are Engineer Jani Ibrahim, the second Deputy President of Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Hajiya Saratu Iya Ali, a former President of CONSCCIMA.

The outgone President of CONSCCIMA, Chief Adedeji H.O said the investiture of Malam Abubakar was a mere formality as the handover had already been done.

Engr. Jani Ibrahim, who represented the President of NACCIMA, Edi John, congratulated Malam Abubakar and wished him success in his new undertakings.

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, represented by Sarkin Shanun Kano, Alhaji Shehu Muhammad, wished Malam Abubakar the best in what he is doing not only in Kano but the country in general.

The investiture, conducted by the Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, described the celebrant as a person with track records of facing challenges and hurdles in order to achieve set goals and targets.

Malam Abubakar commended the concerted efforts of Governor Ganduje for doing all it takes in boosting businesses in the state, most especially the way he handles security matters and the establishment of Dala Inland Dry Port.

In a similar instance he commended Governor Badaru for his outstanding leadership as the chairman BoT of CONSCCIMA.
