The defection of former Senate deputy minority leader, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress is said to have thrown Taraba State into political confusion.

A Taraba statesman, Elder Jeremiah K. Useh disclosed this in a statement signed by his Special Assistant Media, Comrade Useh Luper.

He said Taraba state will henceforth be taken over from PDP with the defection of Bwacha to APC.

Useh noted that the defection of Sen. Bwacha, is sending a signal to the people and the state entirely into confusion and disorderliness alleging that when Bwacha was was received by President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential Villa, Abuja.

Elder Useh described Senator Emmanuel Bwacha as an asset that would help the APC consolidate its work towards taking over the state government from the PDP.

According to him, “I want to state categorically here that I welcome wholeheartedly the decision of Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha to dumped the opposition PDP to ruling APC. His coming will undoubtedly consolidate our work to build a very strong APC in Taraba State to drive away PDP from the state.”

The statement further said, “It is quite unfortunate that the PDP is sinking in the state. People are running out of the sinking ship. The platform is getting weaker every day. What has the PDP done for our people in the past seven years?

“They have ruined our state. Look at the spate of corruption. They have ruined the economy. The authoritarian Governor Darius Ishaku who formally paraded the title of a roadmaster” yet cannot construct good roads in the state amidst the billions of naira that accrue to the State coffers from federal allocation and IGR as a man without conscience”, he added.

Elder Useh boasted that, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha’s exit to APC and carrying with him the calibre of people almost more than half of PDP members in the state.

His defection, he never left alone but contained in the train include, “Masaibi Badmos, Richard Tibwa Abwage and host of other who he claimed number one enemy of Taraba state, APC, peace progress and lazy politicians”.

Elder Useh threw a call to David S. Kente, Garba UTC, A.A Yusuf, Mamman and Afukonyo to collapse their structures so as to build a formidable APC force.
