Chief of Moro’a turbans Adam as new District Head of Bondon

The District Head of Bondon, Jonathan Mamman

The Chief of Moro’a, in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Malam Tagwai Sambo has turbaned Mr Jonathan Adam Mamman as the district head of Bondon and Mr Emmanuel Musa Katukah as the Majidadin Moro’a.

Speaking shortly after turbaning them at his palace at Manchok, Malam Sambo charged them to uphold the virtues of love, tolerance and also promote peaceful co-existence among the people.

Represented by the Madakin Moro’a, the Royal father told them to justify the trust and confidence reposed in them while discharging their separate responsibilities.

Later in an elaborate reception organized for the district head of Bondon, Mr Jonathan Adam Mamman, the Chairman of the occasion, Eng. Phillip Babani Kode reminded the new district head that his predecessor led the district creditably and called on him to also lead it to an enviable height.

The Guest Speaker, Mr Ben Shemang harped on the need for the district head to sustain the tradition of the people and lead them aright.

While calling on the people to support the new district head and shun domestic violence, Mr Shemang also urged them to endeavour to be industrious so as to live meaningful lives.

Also speaking, the Executive Director, Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, and a son of the soil, Mr Jerry Adams described the celebrant as forthright and great achiever.

Mr Adams expressed gratitude to the Kaduna state government and the Moro’a traditional council for allowing fair play in the process that led to the selection of the district head.

In his response, the new district head also thanked the state government, the Moro’a traditional council and the people of Bondon for considering him worthy for the position.

Highlights of the event include the presentation of a new Toyota Corolla car to the district head by the Bondon community.
