China-Nigeria business dialogue to further boost investments holds Tuesday

Investment and business activities between China and Nigeria would further blossom with the China-Nigeria Business Dialogue taking place on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in Abuja.
In a notice from China Embassy in Abuja to Apex News Exclusive, during the dialogue, participants from Nigeria and China will introduce their economic situation, investment policies and environment.
They will also explore opportunities for cooperation in traditional industries and digital economy.
It is expected that top ministerial level officials from International Department of CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee, China’s Fujian Province, Kano State and the Nigerian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment will attend the event and deliver a keynote speech.
However, about 150 business representatives from China’s Fujian Province and Kano State will attend the Dialogue via video links.
China and Nigeria have strong business and investment links over the years in various sectors of the economy and more ways are being explored.
Both President Xi Jinping of China and President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria had exchanged official visits to strengthened bilateral relationships between both countries.
Also, Nigeria have been strong participant on the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
