The Director General of National Directorate of Employment, (NDE), Hon. Silas Ali Agata, has stressed that Christmas is a reflection of the virtues of Jesus Christ.
He also said It is an opportunity to show kindness to one another, particularly to the less-privileged, those in need, and those striving to overcome the challenges of unemployment.
In a statement he signed, Agara said “at the NDE, we remain steadfast in our mission to address unemployment and poverty by empowering Nigerians through innovative vocational training, entrepreneurship initiatives, and agricultural skill development.”
According to him, these efforts align with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to foster economic growth and prosperity for all.
The DG noted that as we embrace the spirit of this season, let us recommit ourselves to building a united, peaceful, and prosperous nation as together, we can create a brighter future for every Nigerian.
He prayed that may this Christmas bring joy, love, and renewed hope to our homes, and may the New Year usher in peace and unprecedented progress for our beloved country.
