The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Plateau State have been commended for the setting of management committee to oversee donation/assistance extended to accident victims of the party.
The commendation is coming from a cross section of the people in the state, as this act is suggesting proper transparency in it’s affairs.
Already, the party’s Governorship Candidate, Caleb Mutfwang who has extended his blessings to this course have agreed to the constitution of the body.
According to Mr. Sunday Lochang, the spirit behind such committee of highly trusted individuals and party members has proven that the state is on the way “to bring in a credible and trust worthy administration “
Taking his time to sympathize with families of the victims, he emphasised that Plateau State has lost sincere and committed partymen in the recent painful accident and charged members of yhe committee to be judicious in it’s activities to justify the party’s good intentions.
Members of the committee are Prof. Shadrack Best, Former SSG, Plateau State Chairman and Dr. Chomo Datiyi, a Former House of Representative Aspirant Jos South/Jos East Constituency and Member Medical Team of the Mutfwang/Pyo Campaign Council as Secretary
Others are Dr. Raymond Juryit Deputy Director, Medical Team Mutfwang/Piyo Campaign Team, Member; Mrs. Roseline Dauda Gotring, CEO Mumso Global Resources, Mumso Events and Mumso Foods Ltd also Member.
Also, Kacholom Abbah Deputy Director, PRTVC, Member, Jonathan Fwangden, Former Councillor Ampang West Ward and Former Chairman, Mwaghavul Youth Movement, Member.

Coordinator Of Mobilization, Central Zone Women, Mutfwang/Pyo Campaign Council. Amb (Dr). Chikas Kumle is also Member, Dr. Agabus Manasseh Consultant Pathologist, Jos University Teaching Hospital Jos, Member as well as Rev. Emmanuel Dogo. RCC Secretary and Reverend in charge, COCIN II Ampang West will serve as Member.
The term of reference is among other things; source for funding from committed individuals and groups within the PDP, and any concerned philanthropic groups; utilise any existing funds; in order to ameliorate the suffering of party members involved in accidents and other health challenges during the party’s campaign rallies and meetings.
It is to “identify the number and addresses of casualties resulting from the recent road transport accidents involving members of our dear party.
“To identify and document valid next-of-kin for victims, To develop a comprehensive medical report of all admissions, treatments, and discharge as if affects the victims” and to
“ascertain the medical expenses arising from services rendered to victims arising from the accidents and make funds for their settlement”
It will also determine the restorative and supportive rehabilitation of some of the victims and give the necessary short and long term assistance and it has four weeks to report on its activities to the Party in the State Chairman.
The inauguration date will be communicated in due time.
