The arrested suspected thieves

Bauchi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested Four suspected thieves who specialized in breaking into people’s houses and stealing their properties.
The suspects were arrested by Zonal Command of the NSCDC in Misau Local Government Area of Bauchi State from where they were brought to the Command Headquarters in Bauchi for parade.
While parading the suspects before Newsmen, the State Commandant of NSCDC, Ilelaboye Oyejide, said that four other suspects are at large.
He noted that residents of Misau have complained of constant robbery, shops and house breaking and attacks on innocent citizens with dangerous weapons in recent times.
According to him, “When I came on board, I raised a crack operatives teams across the 20 LGA to check the menace of those hoodlums and curb it.”
Ilelaboye Oyejide also said that, “When we received a call on Teuesday from Misau LGA on their nefarious activities, we quickly mobilised the operatives there and the thieves ran out of luck and we arrested four of them, four others are at Large.”
“But we will get them, because our operatives are working tirelessly to see those at large are apprehended through vital information,” he said.
Ilelaboye Oyejide further said that the suspects had confessed to the crime and would be charged to court after investigations.
He said that all the items stolen by the suspects included motorcycles, wrappers, television sets, handsets and dangerous weapons have been recovered .
“The remaining suspects are at large, escaped with motorcycles, we are trailing them across Misau local government area,” he said.
The Commandant strongly condemned the act and called on residents to be vigilant and report all criminal activities to the nearest security formation in their localities.
