Cleric decries absence of family values in society

The General Overseer of Bible Base and Miracle Assembly, Rev. Jerry Nwachukwu, has decried the increasing absence of family values in the society.
Speaking in Asaba, the Delta State capital, Rev Nwachukwu queried men of God who disregard value system and sound character in pursuit of fleeting materialism.
He said it is now normal practice for people who call themselves men of God dedicating expensive posh cars worth tens of millions of naira without asking questions about the source of income.
Said Rev. Nwachukwu: ” If money is the only thing you value in this life, then you are the poorest person on the earth”.
He lamented the way young girls at in their twenties years abandon their education and jobs they to engage in hook up jobs.
The man of God said some pastors and people who call themselves men of God these days pursue wealth without discipline, stressing that in a church where everything happen because of lack of discipline is not a church but a “mob”.
He lamented that a country or an organization where there is no discipline, is a failed country or organisation.
Rev. Nwachukwu decried the absence of discipline in every facet of Nigerian polity, saying ” Judiciary is weak, INEC is corrupt. Police is corrupt. No moral value again in our institutions”.
He urged christians to have a change of mind and be sober to reflect godly character since “God is not interested in perfect person but honest person”.
