In order to enable all eligible voters to cast their votes to the candidates of their choice, the Cilivl Liberty Organization, CLO Anambra State chapter has tasked the Independent National Electoral Commission to urgently extend today’s voting in Anambra State to 5pm.
Chairman of CLO in Anambra State Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme made the remarks while reacting to Anambra 2021 governorship election when our correspondent monitoring team accosted him while monitoring today’s election.
The CLO boss lamented over late arrival of INEC officials and Materials, malfunction of card readers, inadequate or lack of security personnel in the polling units and vote buying by some major political parties are greatest impediment towards actualising much needed but elusive free, fair, credible and generally acceptable Anambra Nov 6th governorship election.
CLO thanks patriotic Anambrarians that came out in their numbers to cast their votes. Independent National Electoral Commission should prove the assertion that those who cast their votes does nothing, but those who counts the votes does very thing wrong by ensuring transparent conduct of the election, and it’s outcome reflect the majority of the wishes and aspirations of Anambra electorate CLO posited.
