The Coalition of Democracy Watch has endorsed the candidature of Hon. Danladi Baido of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) as Governor of Taraba State ahead of the March 11, 2023 elections.
The Coalition said it decided to endorse Hon. Baido because of his tract records explaining that he is desirous of providing good governance to the people of Taraba State.
In a statement by the Taraba State-based organization on Wednesday by its Public Relations Officer, Comrade Joseph Egodo, the Coalition pointed out that they have been following the SDP candidate’s political process and found out he has the best articulation of issues of the state than any other candidate.
Besides, they also stressed that his politicking and party are devoid of any litigation like other parties enmeshed in crises.
“We like to clearly declared that the Coalition of Democracy Watch choice for Taraba State governor is the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Hon. Danladi Baido”, the statement stressed.
According to the Coalition while further explaining its reasons, noted that Hon. Baido has never been accused of sectionalism nor being a member of any secessionist group or movement.
The Coalition advised the SDP candidate to be focused in his campaign not to be distracted the rumour that he has stepped down for another candidate.
